My First Published Article:) It's a little bittersweet but God is Good
Below is my first published article. It's a little bittersweet but God is Good and I know he will bring good from this . As always I am claiming Romans 8:28 and Genesis 50:20 for my life. I wanted to share this with those of you who couldn't get a Wylie paper. Hopefully this was a good start in trying to honor Alexis and glorify God through all things :))
Romans 8:28
New King James Version (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Genesis 50
New King James Version (NKJV)
20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Your choices are unheard of. Alexis would laugh and be surprised not one bit and honored beyond words. Your choice to write your article, your Alexis story, for the Wylie newspaper is a superlative one. God is Glorified by your faithful and constant, every which way you turn, revelling in His Strength, Joy and Love that He gives you each day to continue to walk on ~ sometimes quite literally ~ and offer very real
healing to the broken~hearted. We are everywhere.
...and Alexis' survivors, her Off~spring; your family, who need you to love them as much as ever ~ if not more...to remind them to laugh and embrace the Life that their Heavenly Father bestowed upon them and wants them to live...as do you.
As the Owls each night, it takes some days to lift your spirits back to elation and to
remember that Alexis wants so much too for you and each of you to experience all
the Good that Life on Earth can muster. O! From the tiniest grain of hope, of faith...of permission to carry on to Glorify God and to memorialize ways that remember Alexis.
Every choice you make to share Alexis' story and to help your heart heal is the best one.
Your love and compassion for others lifts you and all who know you to such joy and strength. The way you so unselfishly share your hopes, fears, dreams, triumphs and tragedies, are such an example of God's love and the trust and hope we sometimes forget we have. Please keep encouraging me and all who listen to your your heartfelt words. Thank you!
