My message is about HOPE, LIFE CHOICES and REDEMPTION - ideal for church groups, schools, rehabilitation centers, luncheons, conventions, seminars, motivational retreats, and meetings of all shapes and sizes.

What Will I Bring to Your Group?
My message is always customized to fit the needs of the group I am speaking to in a way that is motivating and uplifting.
My story is always the same, but my message changes depending upon my audience. Before each event I pray for guidance for the message most appropriate for the group - and God has not let me down yet.
I tell my story with openness and transparency; with me you get the real deal. God has blessed me with the ability to laugh at myself, which has helped me to engage with the various audiences.
I ensure that my message is the right one for your event and your audience by doing "pre-program" research. This method of research not only prepares me for your meeting or event, but also helps your leaders make sure that everyone is "on the same page" and reaching for the same goals. No other speaker will dedicate more time to developing a program that addresses the needs and the goals of your group than me!
I want to make sure that I give my audience useful tools to succeed in the months and years that follow. I will leave team building exercises as well as suggestions to develop small groups for accountability purposes where relationships will be developed.
God created us to be relational and one of our basic needs is to be accepted and feel as if we belong. Once that need is met we can soar individually, which will increase our productivity in school, the workplace, and life in general.

"Susan - Your presentation to our 5th grade students last week was outstanding and emotional. I've never seen our students so captivated by a speaker, as they were with you. They seemed to connect with you. I believe that listening to your story really made a difference in their lives. You reaffirmed that it's all about choices. The teachers were commenting all day, what a great speech you gave to our students. Thank you so much!"

"I have known Susan Washington for nearly twenty years. We taught together and socialized when she was at Sam Houston Middle School. I was totally shocked when she contacted me this fall. I had not been in touch with her for years. What she revealed to me was something I was totally unprepared for and found it unbelievable.
On October 31, 2011, Susan Washington presented her story to my classes all day long. She did a total of 7 presentations that day. The students and adults in the audience were most attentive. Her testimony is alarming and a reminder that drug addiction doesn’t target any specific group in society, but could happen to any socio-economic group.
I recommend Susan’s presentation to adults and students alike. It is a shocking and alarming presentation. It is a redeeming presentation as well, because there is hope presented for all who similarly struggle."

"The curriculum at the developmental gymnastic center my husband and I own contains obstacle courses designed to enhance cardio vascular function and build endurance. Susan Washington taught for us while she was in college and served as an excellent encourager for many children to get them through the ups and downs, the tunnels, twists, and curves of the courses.
It seems she was in the middle of her own life obstacle course at the time, one that still had some pretty dark places and deep pits for her to climb out in the years to come. With the same perseverance and motivation she exhibited to the children in the gym, Susan pulled herself through the hard places and emerged triumphant.
